Our Philosophy
Chiropractic care is often associated with the spine and for good reason but at its core, chiropractic medicine is about the nervous system.
Your brain and spinal cord form the command center of your body. Every organ, muscle, and tissue relies on clear, uninterrupted communication through the nervous system to heal, adapt, and function properly. The spine’s job is to protect this system while allowing movement in multiple directions. When that movement is restricted—whether from injury, repetitive stress, poor posture, or life’s daily demands—nerve communication can become compromised.
When the nervous system is under interference, the body may struggle to heal, regulate, and perform at its highest potential. Chiropractic care works to restore proper motion and alignment to the spine so the nervous system can communicate clearly again, allowing your body to do what it was designed to do.
At Innate Chiropractic, we focus on removing interference, not chasing symptoms. When the nervous system functions optimally, people often notice improvements in sleep, energy, mobility, recovery, and overall resilience.
Care for Every Stage of Life
Chiropractic care is not reserved for a specific age or condition. We have cared for patients as young as 4 days old and as experienced as 95 years old, and everyone in between.
From infants and children to athletes, working professionals, and older adults, our approach is always safe, intentional, and tailored to the individual. The goal is the same at every age: support nervous system health so the body can adapt, heal, and thrive through every phase of life.
A Technique-Flexible, Results-Focused Approach
No two spines are the same, and no single technique works for every person.
At Innate Chiropractic, we use a diversified approach, drawing from multiple chiropractic techniques to determine what will best support your body and goals. These include, but are not limited to:
✔ Diversified chiropractic technique
✔ Thompson drop technique
✔ Gonstead technique
✔ Activator technique
✔ Upper cervical–focused care
✔ X-ray–based chiropractic analysis
✔ Orthopedic and neurological examinations
✔ Soft tissue and movement-based assessments
Rather than forcing every patient into one method, we choose the technique—or combination of techniques—that makes the most sense for you. The bottom line is simple: we don’t pigeonhole care. We focus on what will help you improve, safely and effectively.
Meet Our Founder: Dr. Thomas Kuchenbrod, DC
About Dr.Thomas
Our owner, Dr. Thomas Kuchenbrod, brings a unique blend of high-level sports medicine experience and personal healing perspective to his chiropractic practice.
Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Kuchenbrod worked in sports medicine at the highest collegiate level in the SEC, supporting elite athletes whose performance and recovery demanded precision, accountability, and results. That background shaped his clinical mindset—understanding how the body moves, adapts, and breaks down under stress.
Equally important, Dr. Kuchenbrod understands healthcare from the patient’s side.
After losing his own health, he was forced to become his own best advocate, learning firsthand that true healing often requires a broader, more holistic view of the body. That experience deeply influences how he practices today, blending structural care, nervous system health, movement, and lifestyle considerations into a comprehensive approach.
This dual perspective, clinician and patient, drives a practice built on empathy, education, and individualized care.
Personalized Care Is Not Optional It’s Essential
Every human body is different. Anatomy varies. Nervous systems respond differently. Healing timelines differ.
This reality became unmistakably clear through over a year spent in cadaver lab, working with more than 40 unique human bodies. No two were identical. Structural differences, tissue quality, joint mechanics, and neurological pathways varied from person to person—reinforcing a simple truth: care must be individualized.
Because anatomy and physiology differ from one person to the next, treatment should never be cookie-cutter. At Innate Chiropractic, your care plan is based on your body, your history, and your goals, not a generic protocol.
We believe personalized care is the foundation of meaningful, lasting results.
