Innate Chiropractic – Helping You Thrive, Not Just Survive

About Us

Dr. James Pitarys - Chiropractor in Lebanon

Healthcare runs in Dr. James’ blood. The son of two medical doctors, he saw a chiropractor just once as a child. It helped—but his parents didn’t believe him. Years later, he was about to apply to medical schools when his career path took a sudden turn.

He was taking a health careers class when a chiropractor came in and shared how rewarded he felt seeing patients defeat pain without drugs or surgery. That struck a chord.

Dr. Heath Foster, DC - Clinical Director of Claremont

Dr. Heath Foster joined Innate Chiropractic in June 2026, bringing more than 13 years of experience helping patients improve their health and quality of life through chiropractic care. Prior to joining Innate Chiropractic, Dr. Foster practiced in Vermont for 9.5 years and previously served patients in Tennessee for 4 years.

Dr. Foster has extensive experience treating a wide range of conditions related to nervous system function, with particular interest in helping patients find relief from headaches, sciatica, and other nerve-related health concerns. His approach focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of discomfort while supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and function at its best.

Dr. Cassie Hastings, DC

Dr. Cassie is passionate about helping families experience better health through chiropractic care, with a special interest in pregnancy, infants, and children. She is Webster Certified, allowing her to provide specialized chiropractic care for expecting mothers, and is committed to continuing her education through advanced pediatric and pregnancy-focused training.

While completing her chiropractic education at Northeast College of Health Sciences, Dr. Cassie expanded her clinical experience through an externship at a family-focused chiropractic practice outside of Syracuse, New York. There she witnessed the incredible impact chiropractic care can have on growing families—from helping infants and children thrive to supporting parents through healthier, more active lives. She believes chiropractic care extends beyond physical health, often creating positive changes mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as families pursue a healthier lifestyle together.

Dr. Michael J. Chamberland, DC - Chiropractor in Lebanon

Dr. Chamberland has over 16 years of experience in conservative neuromusculoskeletal care and sports medicine. A native Vermonter, he grew up in the Connecticut River Valley and earned a full academic scholarship to UVM, completing his Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences/Biology with a pre-medicine focus.

Before entering chiropractic school, he worked in Vermont and Colorado’s ski racing industry as an alpine race and conditioning coach. During this time, a serious spinal injury from ice hockey left him with chronic pain, limited mobility, and breathing restrictions. Conventional medical treatment offered little relief, but chiropractic care led to a complete and rapid recovery—an experience that inspired his career path.

Dr. Thomas Kuchenbrod, DC, CHN - CEO

Dr. Thomas Kuchenbrod, DC, CHN is a chiropractic physician with advanced training in functional nutrition and integrative health. A former NCAA athlete with a background in sports medicine, he earned his degree in Public Health from the University of South Carolina before completing his Doctorate of Chiropractic at the National University of Health Sciences.

His clinical approach blends structural chiropractic care with a deep understanding of the body’s innate healing capacity. He focuses on personalized treatment plans that restore function, reduce pain, and support long-term wellness.

NyKia Reid - Office Manager of Claremont

NyKia is a lifelong member of the Claremont community and has been under chiropractic care for much of her life. After struggling with migraines from a young age, she explored countless treatment options in search of relief. While chiropractic care always played an important role in her health, it wasn’t until becoming a patient at Innate Chiropractic that she experienced the lasting changes she had been searching for. Today, she is proud to say she has been migraine-free and has discovered a new level of health and wellness.

Naomi Severance - Office Manager of Lebanon

Naomi Severance takes care of the details while bringing love and joy into our patients’ lives. Naomi worked as a preschool teacher. Dr. James, one of her student’s dads, knew she had the warmth and energy Alignwell Chiropractic and Movement needed.

She started as a receptionist, then became the office manager, and is now the practice manager. Soon, Naomi had added billing and insurance to her skill set, learning all the ins and outs so she could coach patients to get the most out of their benefits and plans.
